SAVDA: Valentina Astori è il nuovo amministratore delegato

Angelo Costa appointed President. Giuseppe Proto assumes the role of Vice President, on the occasion of his appointment as Director of Business Development of Arriva Italia.

Arriva Italia, the company that control SAVDA, has arrived and has started a process of reorganization of its presence in Italy with the creation of new Departments linked to business development and innovation. The reorganization also involved the presence on the territories with a rationalization of the positions in the operating companies. Giuseppe Proto has been appointed Director of Business Development of Arriva Italia and therefore SAVDA, a company that manages urban and suburban local public transport services in Aosta, has a new CEO from the Group: Valentina Astori.

With 2 million passengers transported every year, 5 million Buses / km operated, 100 vehicles and 130 employees, SAVDA is the main operator in the field of mobility throughout the Aosta Valley.

Valentina Astori begins her experience in the local public transport sector in Lombardy, first as technical director for SGEA, then holding the position of operating office manager at the SAI of Treviglio (BG). In July 2004, with the role of engineering auditor, he joined the Arriva Group. He then held various managerial and managerial roles in the Group companies and in 2015 became CEO of SAB Bergamo.

Valentina, in addition to being appointed as new CEO of Savda, becomes CEO of Sadem Torino and Vice President of SAB. Savda and Sadem constitute, in the North West, a 15 million km hub, 450 employees and more than 300 buses.

In addition to taking on the role of Director of Business Development of Arriva Italia, Giuseppe Proto takes on the role of Vice President of SADEM and SAVDA. He also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Arriva Italia Rail and RAIL TO, Vice President of Extra.To and President of Arriva Veneto.
